Miriam B. Kahn
has been working in the field of preservation since 1989 and founded MBK
Consulting in 1991. She helps libraries, archives, other cultural institutions,
and corporations plan for, recover from, and prevent disasters that interrupt
services to the public. She writes about preservation and disaster response and
teaches regularly for library consortia throughout the Midwest and at the
School of Library and Information Science at Kent State University.
