ABOUT THE BOOK
fjrigjwwe9r0pp_Books:Description
The book entitled “Modern Mongolia:
A Concise History” was first published in 1996 and then in 2002 in Ulaanbaatar,
the capital of Mongolia. Both the editions were very well received not only in
the academic circle but also among the policy planners interested in Mongolia’s
history, politics and society around the world. As such, the current edition of
the book, which is being published by the Pentagon Press, New Delhi, was
planned on the basis of the feedback of the previous two editions. It is an
updated version with the inclusion of a few fresh chapters, the chronology of
major events and unlike the previous editions it also includes more than 90
rare photographs which themselves are witness to the history of modern and
contemporary Mongolia.
