Documenting Indian AI developments fosters a culture of technology innovation. A unique AI framework and action plan focus effort and maintain strategic autonomy. Documenting and disseminating information about Indian AI developments enhances academic and research pursuits within the country, stimulating interest among students and professionals, leading to a more skilled workforce.
Positioning India as a responsible leader in AI is a significant result of this work. Writing about AI developments within India aids in formulating informed policies that support and regulate AI growth effectively. By contributing unique perspectives and solutions to the global AI landscape, India establishes itself as a key player in the AI domain. Artificial Intelligence: Military Tactics, Bridges and Aspirations attempts to achieve all this and hopefully more.
ABOUT Author
Brigadier Pawan Bhardwaj is an Infantry officer with operational experience in the Siachen glacier, counter insurgency and counter terror operations. He has served on the various borders of Assam, Manipur and Nagaland including the high altitude areas of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. He was the teaching faculty at the Army War College and the Infantry School. He has a unique distinction of serving twice with the tri service Strategic Forces Command. His reading interests include Technology Trends, Information Warfare and Military Training. He holds a Master Degree from Madras University. This work is the result of his Research Fellowship at United Service Institution of India on ‘Tactical level employment of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Military’. He is a PhD Candidate at Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE).
