Opening with the Pahalgam massacre of 22 April 2025, and detailing its causatives this book deals with ‘Operation Sindoor’ with the required and unbiased details and then moves backwards (down to the pre-Partition time) dissecting the ‘Indo-Pak Paradox’ in relevant detail, in order to facilitate a judicious understanding of the issues involved by the readers. The contents of this book are divided into 11 chapters for facilitating easy reading. Afterwards, a ‘balance sheet of Operation Sindoor’ has been added. It offers a brief account of the negatives and positives accruing to the warring factions. For the benefit of readers, the abbreviations employed in the text are listed in the beginning of the book.

The prime objective of the effort involved in penning this work is to create a correct understanding of the emotional, economic, and security issues which have contributed to the genesis of the Indo-Pak paradox and its longevity.

ABOUT Author

Dr. U.V. Singh is a rare thinker—a scientist, strategist, corporate reformer, entrepreneur, and writer—who has lived life on his terms, guided by clarity, courage, and a contrarian spirit. Trained as a biochemist at some of the world’s most respected institutions, Dr. Singh began his career in laboratory research. Eventually, he launched his own agrochemicals venture, proving that entrepreneurial excellence can thrive at any stage of life. But Dr. Singh’s most surprising chapter came after retirement. In his sixties, he turned to writing—not memoirs or reflections, but books on ideas that had nothing to do with his formal training. From leadership philosophy to geopolitics and defence strategy, he applied his scientific mind and life experience to decode complex themes with clarity and conviction.

His writing style is bold and unique. He doesn’t just study a subject—he implodes it, breaking it down to its raw elements and then reconstructing it with fresh logic and powerful insight. His first book, Management Wisdom of Lord Krishna, published in 2008, was followed by a new title nearly every year—each different and deeply thought-through, which is very rare in the literary world.
