ABOUT Author

Dr. Preethi Amaresh is a distinguished political scientist with a Doctorate in International Relations (DIR) from the Geneva School of Diplomacy in Switzerland and is an accomplished author of four significant books. She has an impressive history as a scholar with prestigious institutions including University of Copenhagen, MGIMO Russia, South African Military Academy, among others. Dr. Amaresh has received numerous prestigious awards and accolades, including recognition from the Governments of Cuba, China, Germany and the New York Mayor’s Office. Beyond her academic accomplishments, Dr. Amaresh is a former NCC- Army wing under the Ministry of Defence, India. Currently, she serves as the Manager for the CyberDiplomacy and International Relations wing at Cyber Peace.

Maj Gen (Dr) Pawan Anand, AVSM (Retd) was commissioned into the Corps of Engineers and was awarded the President`s Gold Medal at the National Defence Academy for being First in Order of Merit, and later the Sword of Honour at the Indian Military Academy. In an illustrious career over 36 to 40 years, he held varied command and staff appointments and saw action during the Kargil war and later in counter insurgency operations in J&K. He is currently a Distinguished Fellow with the United Service Institution of India and Director for Emerging Technologies for AtmaNirbhar Bharat.

Maj. Vineet Kumar is the founder and global president of CyberPeace, a distinguished cybersecurity expert and social activist who has made impactful contributions over two decades. He was educated at Cranfield University and Cambridge University.  Recognized internationally with awards like IVLP, Chevening Fellowship and the British Council Future Leaders, he received 11 International and 21 National Awards &honours. His advocacy efforts have influenced international CyberPeace and Cybersecurity standards, fostering a safer and more resilient cyberspace. He has participated in notable forums like the UNSC on Counter Terrorism, ITU WSIS Summit, Global Cybersecurity Forum in Riyadh, REAIM Summit in South Korea, among others.
