You have a job to do- the most important job of your life. You’re a parent. Some people say it doesn’t pay well. The benefits aren’t always the greatest. The hours are lousy. And the work is never-ending. But oh, what a wonderful job it is. Parents sometimes look at us with more than a little skepticism when we tell them that parenthood is one of the richest and most satisfying experiences in life.

Like most jobs, parenting involves lots of on-the-job training. Unfortunately, with no actual training program or supervisor, patents are faced with many situations they don’t know how to handle. All parents occasionally need some help and advice when they are having a tough time with their kids. All parents occasionally doubt their effectiveness. Parenting isn’t easy; we know that.
