Algis Uzdavinys is a research fellow at the institute of Culture,
Philosophy, and Arts, and Lecturer at
the Academy of arts in his native Lithuania. He has translated the works of Frithjof Schuon, Ananda Coomaraswamy and Plotinus into
Russian and Lithuanian. In 1998, he was awarded an honorary fellowship to the British Academy and was voted the Art Critic of
the Year by the Lithuanian Association of the Year by the Lithuanian
Association of Artists.
