Vimarsh: Dialogues and Voices on National Concerns, is a compilation of selected analytical papers on 15 of some of the most complex issues with which the nation has to grapple with on its way to progress. The analyses have been articulated by eminent subject experts who explain their insights through the VIMASH Series of awareness that are organised regularly at the Vivekananda International Foundation, New Delhi (VIF).
A topical exposition of this nature brings out the finer nuances of national level challenges which need to be addressed with due alacrity and perseverance in order that Bharatvarsha may harness her full potentials as a developing nation of global significance. For ease of readership, the 15 issues have been analysed under chapter wise groupings of Civilisational, Governance, Science and Technology, National Security and Diplomacy and External Relations.

Shri CD Sahay is one of the founder members of the Vivekananda International Foundation (VIF) and a former chief of the Research and Analyses Wing of Government of India who has performed this onerous assignment with his usual insight and fervour.
Lt. Gen. Gautam Banerjee, PVSM, AVSM, YSM (Retd) is a decorated war veteran, a former Chief of Staff, Central Army Command and a former Commandant of the Officers Training Academy, Chennai. Post superannuation in 2011, he is a Senior Fellow at the Vivekananda International Foundation, New Delhi, a Mentor with the Institute of Defence Studies and Analyses and the United Services Institute, New Delhi, and the Consulting Editor of India`s most prominent defence journal, the Indian Defence Review`.
