Dr. Parag Diwan is a high
technology buff, having worked with organization like NASA and
Semiconductors Complex Ltd. different facets of high technology from rocket
science to microcircuits fascinate him. Apart from his other multifarious
interests and responsibilities. Dr. Diwan specializes in green energy
technology development, including incubation of companies in area of clean
technology.
Currently he is the Founder Vice
Chancellor of the University
of Petroleum and Energy
Studies (UPES). Simultaneously he is also the Chief Operating Officer of the Indian School
of Petroleum and Energy, an institution engaged in providing education,
training, research and consultancy services in the entire spectrum of the
Indian Oil and Gas industry. Recently, he is also been appointed Secretary
General of Energy Institute, India an affiliate of Energy Institute, UK, a best
practices institution in energy sector.
He has more than 200 papers to
his credit on various topics and has participated in several national and
International conferences. He has authored and edited over 50 books on various
technology energy and business, including the encyclopedic Dictionary of
Nanoscience and Energycopia. He has also been a contributing editor to various

Dr. Diwan is also a recipient of

Dr. Rajeev K. Gupta is
assistant Professor of Physics department, University of Petroleum
and Energy Studies, Dehradun. He has many years of teaching and research
experience. He spent many years as a faculty in the department of Physics at Northern India based Technological Institutes and he has
the credit of all initial developments of the laboratory. His area of interest
is ion beam irradiation and polymer metal nanocomposites. His one of the
published article included in the “Energy Citations Detabase”, an official
website of department of Energy (DOE) USA as bibliographic records of important
literature in disciplines of interest to DEO. Dr. Gupta is the co-author of
many books like, Encyclopaedic Dictionary of Nanoscience, Electronics
Engineering, solid State Devices & Circuits and Experiments in Electronics
and Electrical Engineering. He has published several research papers at
