With the increasing use (and misuse of water) and the static availability of freshwater sources, a global scarcity of this precious commodity is already on the screen and, if unchecked, will inevitably lead to a water crisis situation. This book its implications are for the future of the world community and what must be done to avoid the looming water crisis. This book is suitable for teachers, students and researchers in Environment Science as well as professional environmentalist and activists. ABOUT Author

Prof. (Dr.) Sawalia Bihari Verma got his Master’s degree in Commerce and Economics as well as Bachelor’s degree in Law form Bihar University, Muzaffarpur. Subsequently, the completed his Doctorate from Patna University, Patna and also obtained a D.Litt. degree from Allahabad University, Allahabad.

Dr. Praveen Sahu got his M.Com and Ph.D. degrees from Jiwaji University, Gwalior. He is a faculty member, Prestige Institute of Management, Gwalior, under Jiwaji University, Gwalior. He has proved himself a very energetic teacher in management.

Dr. Jawahar Lal got M.Com and Ph.D. degrees from Patna University, Patna. He has about 24 years teaching experience in Commerce and Management studies. He has been Deputy Director, Coordinator in various committees. Many students have been awarded Ph.D. degree under his supervision.
