Dr. Shivendra Shahi is a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Department of
Defence & Strategic Studies, University of Allahabad, Allahabad. He holds
master`s degree in Defence and Strategic Studies and has done his doctorate
(D.Phil.) on `A Study of Naxalism: Emerging Threats to India`s International
Secutiy` from the University of Allahabad. He has written extensively in
various journals relating to defence and security issues. He is a keen
researcher in the field of International Relations and Internal Security and
has contributed more than thirty five articles in National/International
Journals and Chapters in edited books.
Dr. Amar Singh holds masters degree in Defence and Strategic
Studies, from Department of Defence and Strategic Studies, from Department of
Defence and Strategic Studies, University of Allahabad, Allahabad and awarded
M. Phil and has done his doctorate (D.Phil.) on “Food Security Challenges for
India, Pakistan and Bangladesh: The Population Factor 1991-2011” from South
Asian Studies, School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru university,
New Delhi. Publishing credits include several articles in various journals
relating to defence and security. His area of interest is conventional and
non-conventional security challenges and issues related to strategic
environment of South Asia.
