Satish Kumar, former Professor of Diplomacy at Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi and currently, Director, Foundation for National Security Research, is among the most eminent scholars in the field of International Relations. He has held several distinguished positions, participated in numerous international conferences and delivered special lectures at several universities and think tanks across the world.

He is also the founder Executive Director of South Asian Institute for Strategic Affairs (SAISA) and an Adjunct Professor of Strategy and International Relations at New Delhi Institute of Management (NDIM) and facilitator of India Policy Group (IPG) on Afghanistan for Tract II Dialogues by Friedrich Ebert Stiftung.
General V.P. Malik served as Chief of the Army Staff of the Indian Army from October 1997 to September 2000. Concurrently, he was the Chairman, Chiefs, of Staff Committee of India from January 1999 to September 2000. General Malik has authored several papers on defence planning and security issues, and addressed and participated in various national and international workshops, seminars, conferences and track 2 dialogues in the US, UK and Germany.
